What the agreement provides We aim to provide a service to repair your vehicle for a period of 3 months from purchase for major electrical and mechanical breakdown. Repairs Labour and parts costs for repairs to repair your vehicle if an included part suffers a major failure to perform its function up to the repair value, subject to the Repair Conditions. Labour and parts costs for included parts in the event of a breakdown which immobilizes the vehicle, up to the repair value above and subject to the Repair Conditions.

What is included? As part of the agreement, we include repair due to the failure of certain parts. A failure is the failure of a component to perform its normal function. The Agreement also includes repairs due to a breakdown. A breakdown is the failure of a component, which results in the immobilization of the vehicle. Only the parts specifically listed under each heading are included. If a part is not listed, then it will not be included.

Engine Rocker assembly, inlet and exhaust valves, valve guides and springs (excluding burnt valves and decokes), cylinder head (excluding cracks and overheating damage), head gasket, head bolts, push rods, camshaft and cam followers, timing gears, chains and tensioners, oil pump, pistons and rings, cylinder bores, gudgeon pins, con rods and bearings, crankshaft and bearings, inlet and exhaust manifolds, flywheel and ring gear/dual mass flywheels, distributor drive, oil cooler.

Timing Belts Providing there is proof that the Manufacturers replacement recommendations have been complied with and they are free from oil contamination.
Turbo (Factory fitted) The complete unit (including the wastegate, (if it is an integral part of the turbo unit and cannot be purchased separately).

GEARBOXES Manual All internal failures of gears, shafts, synchromesh hubs, selectors, bearings, speedometer drive, overdrive units (when fitted), solenoid, transfer box. Automatics All internal failure of gears, oil pump, seals, shafts, bushes, clutches, brake bands, bearings, governors, servos, torque converter, drive plate, valve block, computer governor, modulator valve, speedometer drive. Continuous Variable Transmissions All internal failures of clutches, planetary gears, reduction gears, shafts, variable pulleys, thrust link drives, internal seals, bushes and bearings.

Drive System (Front/Rear) Crown wheel and pinion, half shafts, seals, bearings, planet gears, bevel gears, rear external drive shafts, constant velocity joints, 4 wheel drive units.
If you consider you have a repair request, contact vroom automotive Ltd firstly. Your vehicle should be recovered back to the point of sale for repair if this is not practical, then, at our discretion, we can arrange for you to take your vehicle to any VAT registered garage in your local area. If you are unaware of a local VAT registered garage, please call us and we will locate one for you. A: No. Any ancillary non-specified parts are not covered

A: No and we encourage all customers to purchase separate roadside assistance from a reputable company before purchase for your peace of mind
Q: Do we supply a loan/hire vehicle if mine breaks down?
A: This is a basic warranty agreement and does not cover a loan or hire vehicle in the event of a breakdown
Q: Do I have to return the vehicle to where I purchased it should it have a warranty fault?
A: We try to accommodate our customers to the best of our ability. Please contact us first and we will try to arrange for your vehicle to be dealt with in your locality. Should this not be the case, then it needs to be recovered to the seller’s address at the expense of the vehicle owner.
Q: What should I do if the vehicle develops a fault?
A: If the vehicle shows signs of an imminent failure of parts or breakdown, DO NOT continue to use it. This may aggravate the problem and cause greater damage, for which we will not pay. Find the cause of the problem first and check to see if it is covered under this warranty. We will not pay for diagnosis or stripping down of any parts unless it is covered under this agreement. You must contact us immediately so we can pursue due diligence on the part(s) that have failed and why.

Electrics Starter/solenoid, alternator, regulator, coil. Brakes Master cylinder Steering Manual rack and pinion, steering column, steering box, idler box Cooling System Water pump Castings Cylinder block, gearbox and axle, transfer box, if it has been damaged by a failure/breakdown of one of the parts included. Various items not included Air-conditioning re-charging, anti-freeze, lubricants, filters, transmission fluids, external leaks, serviceable and ancillary parts such as plugs, points, condenser, core plugs and any parts not listed as being included by the Agreement. On convertibles, the roof together with the pumps, motors, and any retractable panel/mechanisms are not included. The agreement does not include the following: Normal wear & tear items Design or existing faults. Accidental damage. Diagnosis. Consequential damage.

Maintenance & Repair Terms and Conditions Our responsibilities We will meet our responsibilities within a reasonable time frame unless it is impossible for us to do so because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. We accept responsibility for the quality of all our maintenance and repairs, which are carried out by any third party on our behalf in order to meet our obligation to you under the agreement. The warranty is limited to £300 gross per claim. This includes labour and parts. Your responsibilities serving requirements, your vehicle must be serviced at intervals recommended for your particular make, model, and age of the vehicle. For completion of service, we allow a maximum of 1,000 miles or 2 weeks leeway on either side of the stipulated time, whichever comes first.

Please ensure you are
recommended service intervals for your vehicle. If no evidence of a service book with full-service history is present, the servicing requirements of this agreement are 6 months or 6,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of purchase. If you fail to service the requirements then any serviceable items (i.e. items that would have been otherwise identified during the service) will not be covered under the agreement.
